A few of the things I have been working on!

The balck and gold bag is made with vintage fabrics and embellishments. The fabric for the front of the bag was a vintage hand beaded silk scarf with beaded fringe and tassels. The gold looped embellishment down the sides was made using vintage ribbons. I chose soft gold fabrics for the lining as well. It has a zippered closure and inside pockets.

The multi colored textured jacket is made with my layered and stitched Faux Chenille(trademarked) technique. The base of this jacket is a very lightweight sheer rayon crepe and the cut layer was a handwoven silk. Just one cut layer made all of this texture when the jacket was washed and dried.

And finally this is the back of one of my silk chiffon jackets.

The base and cut layers are silk chiffon with one layer of a very loosely woven rayon. The butterfly design was done with an applique technique that I like to use with some of my stitched and cut jackets. The weight of this jacket is extremely light and it is unblievably soft because of the silk chiffon. It is also embellished with hand dyed silk cords and ribbons that hang down the front of the open jacket.
