This jacket is a lightweight silk that has been slashed, manipulated and threaded with hand dyed ribbons to created a pleated texture. The bottom of the jacket was left raw with burned edges. The collar is bound with the same hand dyed silk and the weaving and the tied closure. A great new technique that I will be exploring in the weeks and months to come along with many other techniques that I hope you enjoy and might want to try yourself!
